Dr. Mike Musso, a general dentist, was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. As a young child, he watched his father practice dentistry and knew that he wanted to be a dentist. Dr. Musso majored in zoology with a minor in Spanish at Texas Tech University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston in 1990. He joined his father at Musso Family Dentistry and has been practicing for more than 27 years. Dr. Musso continues to hone his dentistry skills and has completed a number of advanced training programs and continuing education courses, including the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, Gary Kadi’s NextLevel Practice, and Invisalign® training. Dr. Musso values the relationships he has built with our patients over time. His goal as a dentist is to provide total care for his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association®, the Texas Dental Association, and the Dallas County Dental Society. Dr. Musso has three children. He enjoys his children’s activities, whether going to his son’s football games or watching his daughter cheerleading. He also loves coaching his daughter’s basketball team. His sons are both extremely talented and play in a Beatles cover band. Dr. Mike spends time at his lake house, where he fishes and kneeboards. He also enjoys traveling anywhere with a nice tropical view or skiing.
Dr. Mark C. Musso majored in zoology at Texas Tech University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1994. He then joined his brother and father at Musso Family Dentistry. Dr. Musso, a general dentist, continues to work at advancing his dental education and has received advanced training in implant dentistry and orthodontics, including clear aligners. Dr. Mark’s main focus, is now in Airway Orthodontics and treating sleep disorders. He believes the role of the dentist is changing and he partners with many health care professionals to provide overall health and wellness. When he is not helping patients in his office, he is teaching other dentist and medical professionals about sleep disordered breathing and how to treat patients from the age of 2 -92 Dr. Musso, general dentist, is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy for Oral Systemic Health, the Dallas County Dental Society, the Texas Dental Association, and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and is a diplomat of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. He has been practicing for over 20 years and wants to honor God by using the gifts He gave him to make a difference in the health of his patients. Dr. Musso and his wife have two daughters and two sons. Some of his hobbies include working out, golfing, and coaching his sons in sports.
Dr. John Bounds enjoys helping those who need it. Whether it be increasing self-confidence with a new smile or having someone be able to enjoy a juicy steak again with proper function, the reward is the satisfaction he gets from helping patients. At our practice, you’ll see Dr. Bounds living out his core values of family and trust every day. Dr. Bounds completed his undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry at Virginia Tech. After that, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. In addition, his accolades include being an OKU National Dental Honor Society member, taking Christian Dental Society mission trips to Jamaica, and being Psi Omega President. He has also completed his GPR residency at VA North Texas Healthcare System, where he focused on implant placement and restoration, full mouth rehabilitation, surgical extractions and grafting, periodontal surgeries, prosthodontics, and endodontics on a medically compromised patient population. Dr. Bounds, a general dentist, has received his Level 1 Sedation Certification as well. Born in Centreville, Virginia, Dr. Bounds grew up with his older sister, who now lives in Richmond, VA, and is a nurse practitioner. His parents now reside in Southwest Virginia, where they have two dogs. Dr. Bounds, a general dentist, has since moved to the Lower Greenville area of Dallas with his wife, Betsy. He enjoys watching college football (Go Hokies!), cooking, fly fishing, hiking, and playing golf during his spare time.
